School Board of St. Lucie County

Dan McCarty Middle School Addition, Remodeling and Renovations

Ft. Pierce, Florida

Scope:

Florida Architects, Inc. began the project by providing a master plan for the campus and presenting various options to the School Board, Administration and Staff, Principal and other members of the planning committees.

Once a concept was accepted, FLA worked closely with the Principal, faculty, school staff, facility’s administration staff, and the CM to design the addition and schedule remodeling, phasing work for minimal disruption to the campus and facilitating utilization of new spaces. The project also included a new cafeteria and multi-use dining area.
