IRSC + FAU Joint Use Building(s)

Scope:
Florida Architects, Inc. worked closely with both Indian River State College and Florida Atlantic University to develop the program and building design, and assist in managing the entire project budget for a joint-use facility on the adjoining campuses in St. Lucie West. The project is the culmination of several years of planning between the two learning institutions, with three buildings totaling approximately 110,000 gsf constructed in this phase.
Included are; one two-story building for IRSC with classrooms, offices, nursing, physical science, biology labs, surgical technology lab and related spaces all designed to University standards, a two-story building for FAU with classrooms, offices, nursing lab and related spaces; and one three-story building for case rooms with breakout rooms, classroom spaces, dining and bookstore facilities and library for FAU, IRCC and the City of Pt. St. Lucie. All college spaces have been designed to University level.
