POLO PARK MIDDLE SCHOOL
WELLINGTON, FLORIDA

Scope:

As a Design/Build project, FLA worked closely with the CM during the design phase of Polo Park Middle School. This facility is approximately 130,000 GSF and includes 449 programmed student stations. The school is designed for the “academic house” teaching methodology.

An additional purpose for the school is to be available for non-school activities. To accommodate this use, an outside stage was designed in the courtyard, which allows monitored access into the multi-purpose cafeteria without compromising security or allowing intrusion into areas that require restricted access.

Also included in the project is a media center, gymnasium with locker rooms, administrative offices, classrooms, storage areas and labs.
