TOMMY OLIVER STADIUM
PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA

Scope:

Tommy Oliver Stadium has served as the “home” to Bay County sports teams since 1955. This FLA renovation project has taken the 60+ year old outdated and worn facility and transformed it into a state-of-the-art, 7,500-seat prominent feature in Panama City. As such a pivotal piece in Panama City and Bay County history, FLA worked hard to preserve the feel of the old stadium.

Featured in the new $12 million stadium is an expanded press box, an 8-lane rubberized track which will hold regional and district track meets, a finish line laser timing system that will measure down to thousandths of a second, team locker rooms, ticket offices, a high-tech scoreboard with instant-replay technology, premium chairback seating on the 50-yard line, stadium lights and sound system, concessions, bathrooms and facilities on both the home and away sides, ADA access, practice fields, an elevator and additional parking.

The new Tommy Oliver Stadium has rejuvenated the community as well as the four high schools that call it home and continues to serve the Panama City area as a multiple-purpose venue. It isn’t just a stadium; it’s a community icon.
