FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY – TREASURE COAST CAMPUS PHASE II EXPANSION

PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA

Scope:

This cutting-edge facility is approximately 30,000 NSF and was built to provide large, medium and small classroom spaces, more distance learning classes, and office space for faculty.

The design of the building included consideration for solar orientation with regard to the location of glass areas and roof overhangs, with covered walkways providing shade at the ground level on specific elevations.

In addition to a Student Activities and Advising/Career Service Center, this facility also offers a District Board of Trustees Meeting Room/Multi-Use Classroom with overspill into the Main Lobby for official functions.
