Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Proactivity, Responsibility and Resilience. These three words describe our response to the Hurricane Michael disaster and recovery. It is also the way we are committed to dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fortunately, our team has not been directly affected by the coronavirus. However, as a precaution, we have elected to allow staff to “telework” until the crisis period passes. With our recently upgraded technologies, we are able to accommodate remote work with maximum speed and connectivity to avoid project disruptions or schedule delays. All staff will still be available via email, phone and WEBEX.

Unless there are further restrictions on human movement, staff members who are not at risk and do not have children will be working in the office. The FLA office will be open during normal business hours with minimal staff for deliveries and meetings. In the meantime, we will remain vigilant in our personal and office sanitation procedures and “social distancing”. Handshakes may be a thing of the past as we replace it with the “elbow bump”.

Florida Architects is committed to helping our community emerge SMARTER. SAFER. STRONGER.
